The elephant story by Akina Yap

There was this small elephant, who was young and weak.
It always depended on it's parents.
One day, it got caught in a trap.
It was stuck in ropes.
It struggled to break free, but couldn't.
Then, it decided to wait for it's parents to save it.
However, nobody realised that it was there.
So, it stayed there until it grew old.
One day, a little sparrow spotted it.
"Why are you not struggling out of the trap?" it asked curiously.
"That's because 10 years ago, I struggled, but couldn't get out." it replied.
"So that's why you are not trying?" it laughed out loud.
"If you are not going to help me, GO AWAY!" it chased that sparrow away.
That sparrow just left it hanging there, later saying to itself.
"If only you tried, you would have escaped. If you had not given up, you would be free."

The moral of this story is that no matter how weak you are, or how small you are,
as long as you dont give up, you will succeed.
